What the result means
Your Sun sign describes identity in astrological tradition; your Moon sign is associated with emotional habits; your rising sign represents the eastern horizon at birth. These are symbolic interpretations, not measurements of personality. Read the three together rather than treating a single placement as a verdict.
How we calculate
Astronomy Engine calculates geocentric positions in the tropical zodiac. Birth times are converted using a bundled IANA time-zone database. House geometry and aspect rules are computed separately. Supported input dates are 1900–2100.

Can I calculate a birth chart without a birth time?
Yes, with limits. Select unknown time to see noon reference positions and the Moon’s possible range during the local birth date. We omit the Ascendant and houses.
Why does my chart differ from another website?
Check the time zone, birth time, tropical versus sidereal zodiac, and house system before comparing degrees. Rounding and ephemeris conventions can also differ.
